Hawking radiation from universal horizons

چکیده

A bstract The persistence of a suitable notion black hole thermodynamics in Lorentz breaking theories gravity is not only non-trivial consistency test for such theories, it also an interesting investigation per se , as might help us identifying the crucial features at root these surprising laws governing purely gravitational objects. In past investigations, controversial findings were presented this sense. With aim settling issue, we present here two complementary derivations Hawking radiation geometries endowed with universal horizons: novel feature back holes which reproduces several properties normally characterizing Killing horizons. We find that both agree on fact temperature associated to set by generalized horizon peeling surface gravity, required extant first law holes. shall comment compatibility our results previous alternative and their significance survival second gravity.
